Oktoberfest Hits New England

Have you ever been to an authentic Oktoberfest or Springfest in Germany? No? Never fear, the Boylston Schul-Verein (BSV) is in to give you the most authentic Oktoberfest experience you could get in New England. Enjoy the rows and rows of tables, lederhosen and dirndls, and of course, lots of beer. With thirteen different German beers to choose from on draft and food ranging from sweet German pastries to the hefty German classics like Schnitzel, Bratwurst and Sauerkraut, there is enough to keep everyone going for a lifetime of fun.

The event will be held September 9th and 10th starting at noon Saturday and lasting all the way through until 5:30 p.m. Sunday night. Children under the age of 12 are free and require no ticket, and tickets for those older are as low as $9. And with free parking, there is nothing holding you back from being transported into German’s most famous event of the year. But be warned, credit cards or debit cards are not accepted at the bar or food stations, so be sure to bring enough cash to last through the day. And if you forget, there are two ATMS located on the grounds available for withdraw.

Oktoberfest will be held rain or shine! The pavilion holds 500 seats and is equipped with a fully covered dancefloor, protected from scorching temperatures or heavy rain. Music, games, and performances are also available throughout the weekend, perfect for kids and adults alike.
